The largest chain of hypermarkets “Korona” has decided to build a new format of retail properties “shops close to home.” So far, the company was represented by large retail facilities in the capital and regions: the shopping center “Korona” in Minsk, Vitebsk, Borisov, Grodno, Salihorsk, Brest, Bobruisk, Baranovichi, shopping center “Zamok” in Minsk.
Shops “Korona” are the shops of the format “close to home” of a 1,000 sq.m. Most of the assortment will make consumer goods: milk and meat products, bakery products, chemicals and others. Also planned cooking department, where buyers can purchase as a semi-finished products and ready-made meals of meat, fish and poultry, salads and side dishes. The target audience of the shops “Korona” is, first of all, the inhabitants of the surrounding areas leading an active lifestyle and experiencing shortage of time.
In connection with the development of the new shop format, the company is actively looking for suitable retail space. The company will be considering retail space for food and industrial product groups, ranging from 500 to 1500 square meters, next to the residential and sleeping areas. It should be noted that preference will be given to spaces on the ground floors of residential buildings.
